The image below was taken at Grand Central Station in New York City during my last visit to NY. This moving image is made of a few still shots at a high speed and then recreated as a Gif file animation,. This is an old technique used by many website and advertisers, to make those annoying pop up ads…:-) but in much more artistic way!
Grand Central Station truly lives up to it’s name, This Architectural wonder is NY’s pride possession and the passage to 1000’s of travelers every day

This is one of my favorite fashion headshots of Tanya, we actually did not plan for this shot at all, as she was getting her hair cut I happened to have my camera handy and a small soft box was used to get the soft defused lighting

The Guess ad campaign Editorials shot by Shaun Alexander, fashion photographer , ranked the most successful fashion editorial shoot by many fashion experts and magazine editors for 2012 . Shaun conforms lighting to the type of ad, the background, the model’s features, and the product. He gives what the ad needs, resulting to a dramatic, yet high end and glamorous advertisement such as of Guess.
Having great taste and creativity, Shaun Alexander gives Guess an ad campaign that captivates the rand’s total look- easygoing, however elegant and expensive. There has never been a cheap-looking Shaun Alexander photo ever, and neither a Guess ad. This shows that the topadvertising photographer has not only lived up to adding another item to the legacy of ad portraits for the company of the Marciano brothers. He was able to successfully embody the Guess spirit in his work and at the same time apply his own style into it.
In New York advertising photography, the Ad campaigns must consist of a photographer who directs the shoot according to how the product or service should be presented. He lets the model do her job, but makes sure he or she gets it right and makes a pretty picture.
Advertising photography demands perfection since its purpose is for the endorsement of a company’s product or service. Cecil ads by Shaun alexander show not only the brand’s youthful side, but the freshness of their hippest products that make trends more buyable and wearable.
